Calistoga Zen-like Ranch Estate -- Set on the Napa-Sonoma border, this home allows convenient access to California's top two wine regions. This property could not be better locates, with downtown Calistoga at your virtual doorstep, you also have easy access to both St. Helena & Healdsburg which are both a short 30 minute drive.

Set on an 11-acre estate with bucolic views of Mt. Saint Helena and near-by meadows, a modernized California ranch-style home awaits you to experience wine country at its best and just 8 minutes from world class spas and haute-cuisine that downtown Calistoga offers.

This single-family home, has been thoughtfully appointed with Modern and Mid-Century Modern flair in the Spring of 2022. Every room commands breathtaking views. An open single floorplan and a great-room that is ideal for entertaining and relaxing, our home is the perfect place to treat yourself to a perfect wine country getaway. What we love about this estate is that it sits atop a very private knoll that creates a Zen-like connection to the world famous Calistoga landscape.

The home features three bedrooms -- the master is en-suite. A great room that encapsulates a dining room along with a large living room all of which beast framed views of Mt. Saint Helena and offering a huge deck with sliding glass door ideal for indoor-outdoor entertaining. A gourmet kitchen, a formal sitting room, laundry room with sink, and a spectacular 300 sq. ft. deck allows you to fully relax and recharge. A shared pond completes the experience.

Note this property has an additional homestead adjacent to it that can be rented in conjunction with the Wine Country Ranch.

NEED HELP PLANNING YOUR STAY?

Mayastoga offers our guests Wine Country Concierge services for a small fee per day of your stay. Your concierge will plan and manage all aspects of your visit to our distinctive property in California’s northern Wine Country. Itineraries can include boutique and hard-to-access wineries, local restaurant reservations and transportation, as well as special touches that make for a truly memorable adventure. In addition to your tasting days, arrangements can include evenings in the comfort of your luxury residence with a private chef, a guest winemaker, or a cheese tasting and pairing with an internationally recognized food and wine expert (or all of the above!). Of course, there are numerous activities in addition to wine and culinary plans that are regularly arranged for our clients that include unique local attractions and activities (including our “Kids Country” itineraries).

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS: We have a 3-night minimum with the exception of a 5-night minimum June - August and major holidays (New Year, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.)

CANCELLATION POLICY: Effective March 1, 2020 our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellations 30+ days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less any fees for credit card processing we assumed when you made your original payments. (We do not charge credit card fees when guests originally reserve)
- Cancellations less that 30 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund unless we are able to rebook the property for your same dates. In that case you will be refunded the full amount of your payments to date less any fees for credit card processing we assumed when you made your original payments. If we choose, you may be able to receive a credit toward a future stay valued at the full amount of your payments less original credit card fees.

DEPOSIT: We reserve the right to include a cash deposit based upon the details of the reservation.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We are not your travel insurance company! Please seriously consider purchasing travel insurance for your upcoming reservation. While travel insurance is not mandatory it can protect against an unforeseen trip cancellation. There are many options for travel insurance and Mayastoga Property Group has arranged for our guests to purchase travel insurance through RentalGuardian, one of the leading companies offering this product. Standard travel insurance costs only 7% of your total invoice and CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) travel insurance costs just 9.8%. You will be offered the opportunity to add this insurance to your reservation at check-out.

Quiet Hours as mandated by Sonoma County Code Section 26-88-120 are between 10p and 7a.

 

1.                   NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE GROUNDS – This is a strictly a non-smoking property, any violation of this policy will result in forfeiture of ALL deposit funds.  Rural areas in California have been extremely vulnerable to wildfires over the past few years, please make sure you and your guests comply with this rule to ensure safety for our community.

1.                   FORCE MAJEURE – Owners shall NOT be liable for any default or delay in the performance of its responsibilities under the Agreement if and to the extent such default or delay is caused, directly or indirectly, by fire, smoke, flood, earthquake, hurricane, elements of nature or acts of God, riots, strikes, civil disorders, quarantine restrictions, epidemics, pandemics, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of such party.

Deposit Policy

DAMAGE WAIVER INSURANCE - Property damage insurance is required and will be added to your invoice total at time of booking. We also reserve the right to add a cash deposit requirement at any time. Renter acknowledges the he/she may be liable for damage above the coverage amount should any of the following cause significant harm to the property:

a. Damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. Debris other than toilet paper is placed in the toilets. The property is not connected to city sewer but has its own septic systems. Flushing feminine hygiene or other objects down the toilets can cause significant damage.
c. Debris, rubbish, recycle and discards are left in the house (must be placed in appropriate trash receptacles next to the small garage.)
d. Smoking in the house or anywhere on the property will result in a $1,000 fine NOT payable by the Damage Deposit Waiver.
e. Renter is evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or local law enforcement.
f. Having more than the approved number of people on the property at any one time without prior approval.
g. Adjusting any pool setting or equipment, water system (including sprinklers or well equipment, etc.), or any other property maintenance equipment.
