Mayastoga's first Modern Modular Casita, or 'Modsita' as we call it, sits on a 17-acre property with (but separated from) our Wine Country Ranch and down the road from our Vineyard Farmhouse property, it's a truly amazing place w/ spectacular views!
Mayastoga Property Group owns and/or operates numerous luxury homes in the Napa and Sonoma areas. Mayastoga's beautiful new (and private) Modsita shares a 17-acre property with our Wine Country Ranch at 1,200 ft. above the quaint Napa County town of Calistoga. Built in 2018 by Connect-Homes, a luxury modular home builder, and decorated by acclaimed designer, McMullen & Co. in a Danish style design, this showplace is a stunner! In addition to the spacious main living quarters and open-concept kitchen, this guest home features close to 900 sq. ft. of outdoor living area surrounding its own "Modpool."
Facing the beautiful Mayacamas Mountains, this new Mayastoga property is decorated with high-end designer furniture and fixtures featuring Design within Reach, Lostline, Ravenhill, Schoolhouse, ABC Carpet and many more.
The open-concept eat-in kitchen wraps around a large marble waterfall island and features Bosch, KitchenAid, Miele appliances, fully automatic Seaco coffee system and designer dish-ware.
The living and dinning areas comfortably seat six with the space centered on an Ann Sacks herringbone tile feature wall with built-in Valor fireplace to keep you warm and cozy on cooler nights.
Cozy bedrooms have Amerisleep mattresses, Restoration Hardware sheets, California Closets and natural wood floors that connect throughout the home.
The bathroom includes a marble shower and private water closet room and plenty of fluffy white Restoration Hardware towels and Napa Soap Company bath amenities.
4-panel sliding doors open onto 900 sq. ft. of kiln-dried cedar decking surrounding a 20 ft. Modpool container pool with its own window peering out to the Mayacamas Mountains. Comfortable Restoration Hardware furniture is organized to create lounge seating for four around a large fire pit at the edge of the deck, a covered dining area for six and a separate covered lounge for those few and between rainy days.
This is truly a magnificent property with views that will blow your mind!

Mayastoga also owns and/or operates additional luxury homes in the same area and throughout Napa and Sonoma Counties.
CONCIERGE SERVICES: Mayastoga offers our guests Wine Country Concierge services for a small fee per day of your stay. Your concierge will plan and manage all aspects of your visit to our distinctive property in California’s northern Wine Country. Itineraries can include boutique and hard-to-access wineries, local restaurant reservations and transportation, as well as special touches that make for a truly memorable adventure. In addition to your tasting days, arrangements can include evenings in the comfort of your luxury residence with a private chef, a guest winemaker, or a cheese tasting and pairing with an internationally recognized food and wine expert (or all of the above!). Of course, there are numerous activities in addition to wine and culinary plans that are regularly arranged for our clients that include unique local attractions and activities (including our “Kids Country” itineraries).

By booking any of the available add-ons the renter understands they are not affiliated with the property owner, and the guest/renter agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless the property owner for any and all claims related to any third-party activities.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: We are not your travel insurance company! Please seriously consider purchasing travel insurance for your upcoming reservation. While travel insurance is not mandatory it can protect against an unforeseen trip cancellation. There are many options for travel insurance and Mayastoga Property Group has arranged for our guests to purchase travel insurance through RentalGuardian, one of the leading companies offering this product. Standard travel insurance costs only 7% of your total invoice and CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) travel insurance costs just 9.8%. You will be offered the opportunity to add this insurance to your reservation at check-out.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: Effective March 1, 2020 our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellations 30+ days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less any fees for credit card processing we assumed when you made your original payments. (We do not charge credit card fees when guests originally reserve).
- Cancellations less that 30 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund unless we are able to rebook the property for your same dates. In that case you will be refunded the full amount of your payments to date less any fees for credit card processing we assumed when you made your original payments. If we choose, you may be able to receive a credit toward a future stay valued at the full amount of your payments less original credit card fees.
Deposit Policy
DAMAGE WAIVER INSURANCE - Property damage insurance is required and will be added to your invoice total at time of booking. We also reserve the right to add a cash deposit requirement at any time. Renter acknowledges the he/she may be liable for damage above the coverage amount should any of the following cause significant harm to the property:
a. Damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. Debris other than toilet paper is placed in the toilets. The property is not connected to city sewer but has its own septic systems. Flushing feminine hygiene or other objects down the toilets can cause significant damage.
c. Debris, rubbish, recycle and discards are left in the house (must be placed in appropriate trash receptacles next to the small garage.)
d. Smoking in the house or anywhere on the property will result in a $1,000 fine NOT payable by the Damage Deposit Waiver.
e. Renter is evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or local law enforcement.
f. Having more than the approved number of people on the property at any one time without prior approval.
g. Adjusting any pool setting or equipment, water system (including sprinklers or well equipment, etc.), or any other property maintenance equipment.
Rate varies due to seasonality, holidays and demand.

This was such a fun little house to rent for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Arthur was responsive when we needed help turning on the heat for the pool, and the place was modern, neat and tidy. There were beautiful views, wildlife everywhere, and even a tennis court with rackets and tennis balls to use. we will be back!

Arthur's place was perfect! It was well designed, clean, great location in a setting nestled in the hills of Calistoga and still close to town in less than 10 minutes. The home had everything we could want. The outdoor space was my favorite - a number of options to sit outside to enjoy a morning coffee or evening wine among the beautiful hills -- whether poolside or at the table or the fun hanging chairs or the sofas next to the fire! A special getaway spot for sure!

This is a very unique and charming place to stay in wine country! The views and the pool were our favorite parts of our trip. The house is a short drive from neighboring towns like St Helena or Yountville so going out to eat at our favorite places was completely reasonable. Our contact, Nelva, was incredibly responsive and helpful; she even offered to heat the pool remotely for us so we could swim right away after the Napa Marathon! The house has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, we can’t wait to return for another visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Modista. The location was ideal for wine tastings, the country side view was amazing, the home was spectacular and we enjoyed the quiet relaxing vibe. The only negative thing, was the hot tub/pool. The pool had green algae in the bottom, the liner is peeling away from the bottom and the sides are rusting. We thought the hot tub was separate from the pool, which was one of the reasons we choose this Airbnb over other options. Guests need to know the pool and hot tub are one unit, which means the temperature of the water is depending on heating the entire pool, which is a $100 up charge per day. The pool/hot tub needs an upgrade.

A group of girlfriends came on a long overdue and much needed getaway to this peaceful abode. Some stayed at the beautiful, magazine perfect farm house and four of us stayed in a slice of heaven called the "Modista." The Modista was an exquisitely designed and decorated sanctuary situated at the base of a mountain and in the heart of wildlife. We awoke every morning to walls of glass and a warming fireplace as deer roamed all around us. It was exquisite beyond words. I will not only return with my husband but on my own when I need recharging and a place to write. It was Awesome. And while we felt left to the tranquil sanctuary we sought, Arthur and Bradley were never far to take care of any little thing we needed. I simply could not have asked for more. It was AMAZING.

Such a perfect place to stay! The views were incredible. Mountain views, private serene nature, saw bunnies and deer outside our bedroom with floor to ceiling windows. Both bedrooms had great views and beds were very comfy. Outdoor deck with pool/hottub and fire pit created perfect romantic ambiance. Outdoor grill. House has great open floor plan with high class details and decor. No detail was overlooked. From fancy silverware to binoculars for viewing wildlife. Private location but near local wineries and hiking excursions. Host was very flexible with our itineraries and very welcoming and accommodating. We will most definitely be returning here on our next trip to Napa!

Perfection. A beautiful modern casita with all the luxury of a 5 star hotel - but with much more privacy and a personal touch! A highlight of the property is the generous deck with a pool that overlooks a stunning landscape. The property is nestled in a private picturesque area of Calistoga - surrounded by many ancient oak trees and rolling hills. An added bonus was the deer that run by frequently in the morning and at dusk - adding to the peaceful charm. And while we felt the calm of being away from it all - we also were very well located to easily access many wonderful wineries, restaurants, shopping and a beautiful spa! Arthur goes above and beyond to make his guests' stay comfortable and effortless - no detail is overlooked. We can't wait to return!
