Property Details

Wine Country Estate with views, pool, and golf hole is the place for relaxing and finding peace of mind. Breathtaking views of the Mayacamas Mountain Range are the focus at this ranch-style home in the heart of Sonoma and Napa’s wine country. Completely remodeled in 2020, this 3BR/4BA estate overlooks its own horse pasture and custom Augusta inspired 100-yard golf hole with 6,000 square foot green (construction of golf hole complete July 2021) and features a single-story main house including comfortable sleeping for 10.

The home has a private pool, landscaped lawns, and numerous outdoor areas. A spacious front lawn hosts a crew of characters on a daily basis including deer, rabbits, and turkeys among others. The back deck is over 3,000 square feet and includes over 2,000 square feet of covered area, including outdoor dining table, several large umbrellas, a couch, and chaise lounge chairs -- the perfect spot for sipping your favorite glass of wine at sunset.

Every room in this estate exudes elegance and style. The wood shelves and fireplace mantle were reclaimed from an old sailing vessel harbored in Bodega Bay. The stone fireplace was constructed by one of the county’s finest masons with stone from a 200-year-old quarry in Vermont. There are 32 feet of glass doors opening to the back yard that create a true indoor outdoor living arrangement. The main house features a vaulted great room, a chef’s kitchen with stainless steel Thermador appliances, a wine fridge, and 12-foot dining room table for family dinners. There are three separate bedrooms, including two large en suites with expansive bathrooms and an oversized third bedroom with two queens. There is also an office that includes a queen day bed and trundle that is perfect for kids or an afternoon nap.

In the garage, you will find a pool and ping pong table as well as a 50-inch TV with surround sound system for hanging out on a relaxing day. Journey down to the creek at the back edge of the property or take a walk down the road to see the pond and horses, and possibly catch a glimpse of the Great Heron, ducks, turtles, mallards, and other waterfowl that grace our neighborhood.

The family room features plush seating for eight and an electric fireplace imported from England. Unwind in the light-filled great room while laying on the 14-foot L-shaped couch and watching the 75” TV.

Mayastoga offers our guests Wine Country Concierge services for a small fee per day of your stay. Your concierge will plan and manage all aspects of your visit to our distinctive property in California’s northern Wine Country. Itineraries can include boutique and hard-to-access wineries, local restaurant reservations and transportation, as well as special touches that make for a truly memorable adventure. In addition to your tasting days, arrangements can include evenings in the comfort of your luxury residence with a private chef, a guest winemaker, or a cheese tasting and pairing with an internationally recognized food and wine expert (or all of the above!). Of course, there are numerous activities in addition to wine and culinary plans that are regularly arranged for our clients that include unique local attractions and activities (including our “Kids Country” itineraries).

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS: We have a 3-night minimum with the exception of a 5-night minimum June - August and major holidays (New Year, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.)

CANCELLATION POLICY: Effective March 1, 2020 our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellations 30+ days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less any fees for credit card processing we assumed when you made your original payments. (We do not charge credit card fees when guests originally reserve)
- Cancellations less that 30 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund unless we are able to rebook the property for your same dates. In that case you will be refunded the full amount of your payments to date less any fees for credit card processing we assumed when you made your original payments. If we choose, you may be able to receive a credit toward a future stay valued at the full amount of your payments less original credit card fees.

DEPOSIT: We reserve the right to include a cash deposit based upon the details of the reservation.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We are not your travel insurance company! Please seriously consider purchasing travel insurance for your upcoming reservation. While travel insurance is not mandatory it can protect against an unforeseen trip cancellation. There are many options for travel insurance and Mayastoga Property Group has arranged for our guests to purchase travel insurance through RentalGuardian, one of the leading companies offering this product. Standard travel insurance costs only 7% of your total invoice and CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) travel insurance costs just 9.8%. You will be offered the opportunity to add this insurance to your reservation at check-out.

Quiet Hours as mandated by Sonoma County Code Section 26-88-120 are between 10p and 7a.

Enjoy meals overlooking the pool and the rolling valley beyond in the open-concept dining space with seating for 10. There is a Kitchen-Aid outdoor BBQ with a warming drawer, separate burners, and plenty of counter space for food preparation.

Adjacent to the dining room is a gourmet kitchen, outfitted with contemporary appliances including a six-top gas stove, oven, dishwasher, wine fridge, built-in fridge, and coffee maker.

The first en suite was the original master bedroom and has a comfy king bed and 65” TV. The second en suite has its own king bed, 65” TV and a bedroom sized bathroom with views of the mountains. The third bedroom features two queens, a 65” TV, and a full bathroom just outside its doors. The office has its own bed and half bath attached.

The sprawling grounds of this estate include a pool, gas grill, numerous dining and sitting areas, and a beautiful courtyard with a fountain and chaise lounge chairs.

Please note: The pool can be heated any time of the year for a cost. It is also dependent upon weather.

This rental is also available on a long-term basis.

Please note: Rentals longer than 30 nights require bi-monthly housekeeping at the guest’s expense and a monthly homeowner required property inspection, as well as an inspection upon departure with the tenant being present.

Cancellation Policy

Deposit Policy

DAMAGE WAIVER INSURANCE - Property damage insurance is required and will be added to your invoice total at time of booking. We also reserve the right to add a cash deposit requirement at any time. Renter acknowledges the he/she may be liable for damage above the coverage amount should any of the following cause significant harm to the property:

a. Damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. Debris other than toilet paper is placed in the toilets. The property is not connected to city sewer but has its own septic systems. Flushing feminine hygiene or other objects down the toilets can cause significant damage.
c. Debris, rubbish, recycle and discards are left in the house (must be placed in appropriate trash receptacles next to the small garage.)
d. Smoking in the house or anywhere on the property will result in a $1,000 fine NOT payable by the Damage Deposit Waiver.
e. Renter is evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or local law enforcement.
f. Having more than the approved number of people on the property at any one time without prior approval.
g. Adjusting any pool setting or equipment, water system (including sprinklers or well equipment, etc.), or any other property maintenance equipment.
