Salmina Estate is an exceptional new-construction residence set among working vineyards on the scenic valley floor — one of the most coveted addresses in all of Napa wine country. Designed from the ground up for discerning guests who expect both refined beauty and effortless entertaining, this nearly 5,000-square-foot estate delivers an experience that feels less like a rental and more like your own private Napa retreat. Five lavishly appointed ensuite bedrooms ensure every guest enjoys complete privacy and comfort, while a separate bunk room adds flexibility for larger families or multi-generational groups. A ground-level bedroom with its own private entrance functions as a self-contained suite — ideal for a personal assistant, nanny, or guests who prefer total independence from the main residence. Inside, the interiors are light-filled and architecturally cohesive — open living and dining spaces flow naturally for the kind of relaxed togetherness that great wine country weekends are made of. The recreation room offers a refined retreat for evenings in, whether you're pouring through the last bottles of the day or settling in after a long afternoon of tastings. Outside, the estate's true character emerges. Multiple alfresco entertaining areas frame unobstructed vineyard views, setting the scene for private wine tastings, catered dinners, or golden-hour gatherings with people you love. A sparkling private pool invites long, unhurried afternoons in the California sun, while the surrounding vines provide a sense of seclusion rarely found so close to the valley's finest restaurants and wineries. Just minutes from the tasting rooms, Michelin-starred tables, and world-renowned spas of Calistoga and St. Helena, Salmina Estate offers the rare combination of true privacy and effortless access to everything that makes Napa Valley the world's most celebrated wine destination. For groups requiring additional space, a neighboring luxury estate — offering four further ensuite bedrooms — may be available in conjunction, allowing larger parties to spread across both properties while remaining steps apart. Salmina Estate accommodates up to 10 guests. Pets welcome (with fee). Minimum renter age: 30.
Salmina Estate stands apart as one of the few newly constructed luxury estates on the Napa Valley floor — no renovation-era compromises, just purpose-built elegance from the ground up. The private-entrance suite adds a level of flexibility and discretion rarely found in comparable properties, and the vineyard-surrounded setting delivers postcard views without sacrificing proximity to Calistoga and St. Helena.
- Brand new construction — Purpose-built for luxury entertaining rather than retrofitted from an older home, Salmina delivers a level of finish, flow, and modernity that renovated estate properties in the valley rarely match - Five private ensuite bedrooms — Every guest has their own bedroom and bathroom, an increasingly rare configuration that eliminates the friction most group rentals create and elevates the dynamic for the entire stay - Ground-level private-entrance suite — A self-contained bedroom with its own independent entrance provides a level of privacy and discretion — for staff, a nanny, or guests who prefer complete independence — that few comparable properties offer - Nearly 5,000 square feet on the valley floor — The combination of scale, newness, and valley-floor location places Salmina in a very small category of properties in the Calistoga area - Vineyard surroundings on all sides — The estate sits among working vines with unobstructed views in every direction — the quintessential Napa Valley visual experience without compromise - Multiple alfresco entertaining areas — The outdoor space is designed for groups who want to gather, spread out, and gather again — pool, multiple dining and lounging zones, and vineyard views as the backdrop throughout - Adjacent luxury estate available — For groups requiring more than ten guests, a neighboring property with four additional ensuite bedrooms can be made available in conjunction — a rare configuration that keeps larger parties close without crowding them - Minutes from both Calistoga and St. Helena — The valley-floor location on Larkmead Lane splits the difference between two of Napa's finest towns, giving guests effortless access to the best of both

Calistoga sits at the northern tip of the Napa Valley floor, where the Mayacamas and Vaca mountain ranges converge to create one of California's most dramatic and celebrated wine country settings. It's a town that moves at its own unhurried pace — small enough to feel intimate, yet rich enough in world-class experiences to fill a week without repeating yourself. From the property, you're within minutes of some of Napa Valley's most iconic wineries — Chateau Montelena, Castello di Amorosa, and Sterling Vineyards among them — as well as the boutique tasting rooms that line the Silverado Trail and Highway 29 corridor. St. Helena, home to Michelin-starred dining and high-end shopping, is a short drive south. Calistoga is also unique in Napa Valley for its natural geothermal hot springs. World-famous spa destinations including Indian Springs, Dr. Wilkinson's, and Calistoga Spa Hot Springs are all within easy reach, making this an ideal base for guests who want to combine wine tasting with genuine relaxation and rejuvenation. Downtown Calistoga's Lincoln Avenue offers a walkable stretch of locally owned restaurants, wine bars, and boutique shops — an easy evening stroll after a day in the vineyards.
The nearest commercial airports are Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) approximately 45 minutes away and is serviced by Southwest, American, and Alaska. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) approximately 90 minutes south. Oakland International Airport (OAK) is also a reasonable option at roughly 80 minutes.
A car is the best way to experience Napa Valley, and most guests choose to drive or arrange a private car service for the duration of their stay. Having your own vehicle gives you the freedom to explore wineries along the Silverado Trail and Highway 29 at your own pace — which is really the only way to do wine country properly. If you plan to spend your days tasting, we strongly recommend arranging a private driver or wine tour vehicle in advance. Our concierge team can connect you with trusted local providers who specialize in full-day winery tours and private transportation — just ask when you book. Rideshare services including Uber and Lyft operate in the area, though availability can be limited in the evenings and on weekends, particularly in the more rural parts of the valley. We recommend not relying on rideshare as your primary transportation plan. Calistoga's downtown Lincoln Avenue is walkable from some of our properties, with restaurants, wine bars, and shops all within easy reach on foot.
